GM racked up its best fourth-quarter U.S. retail sales since 2007 while light trucks fueled Toyota, Subaru, Kia, VW brand and Mazda gains. Ford Motor, FCA, Honda and Nissan Group all posted lower volume in the final three months of 2020, amid signs consumer demand spiked across the industry in the closing days of December.
