A California man has sued BMW and BMW Financial alleging their ban on buyouts by third-party dealers interfered with his contract to sell a Toyota store his off-lease 2019 X3 at a profit. He seeks class-action status for himself and other lessees whose terms ended after Oct. 1, 2021.
