GM sales rise, Ford slips in August http://ift.tt/2iNelmg posted a 7.5 percent increase in August U.S. sales behind higher fleet and retail volume, and double-digit increases at Chevrolet and GMC. Ford's sales dropped on lower daily rental, car, crossover and SUV demand.
